DOUBLE WORLD PREMIERE AT BAD EMS: ROSSINI – ALBUM FRANÇAIS

Abstract

On March 25, 2026, the prestigious Marmorsaal Bad Ems (Germany), one of the most representative cultural spaces of the spa town included in the UNESCO World Heritage, hosted an exceptional artistic and scientific event, organized in partnership with the "Gegen den Strom" Festival an der Lahn. The event marked two reference moments in the valorization of Rossini's chamber creation: the first full recital performance of the vocal cycle Album français by Gioachino Rossini and the launch of the first bilingual volume (German-English) dedicated to the repertoire of the Album Italiano, published by the Eurostampa Publishing House in Timișoara, the result of artistic and musicological research carried out within the "Aurel Vlaicu" University in Arad.
