In this article I will focus on some basic notions that appear in the written press: specification, denial, rectification, right to reply. The study includes examples collected from the press, blunders in documentaries and denials offered by journalists. I will also treat the right to reply in cultural journalism, offering some suggestive examples in this regard, based on the experience of the 26 years in the Romanian cultural press.
