Abstract

Given that this Symposium "Culture, art and tradition in the intercultural space of Romanians from the diaspora" is held in Hungary in Gyula, the idea of this article is based on the results of the epoch-making research on the universe of Béla Bartók's music, carried out by the great Hungarian musicologist Lendvai Ernő. Thanks to him, the most modern ethos system of chords and tonalities became known throughout the musical world. His theory in the mirror of his discoveries, I think it is appropriate to be (briefly) presented in such a symposium that takes place precisely in Hungary, the country that gave humanity the two perfect musicians.
